The first rip of the new year is here! We are starting it off with a SoCal special in Rancho Santa Margarita with our friends from Better Bolts. They will be providing some of that gas station style drip coffee and cheap donuts to get you jacked up before a big effort. We're easing into the miles this early in the season with a 43 mile route and just over 3,500 feet of climbing, and a side of spice.
The route starts and finishes at Mission Ready Brewing where we will hang out after for beers and cheers. We will have two spots to regroup, one that you can purchase drinks and food at, and one water fountain. Please pack accordingly as the climbs are short and spicy, and be ready for about four hours of riding.
Prepare yourself for technical singletrack, steep and loose fire roads, spicy climbs and a few water crossings. Our Ride Guide Austin is making a wooden bridge to cross over one of them just for you all, but that's what the adventure is all about.
This won't be a no-drop ride and we will keep the group rolling along, but we will do two regroups. Please download and familiarize yourself with the route. The route can be found on Ride With GPS with points of interest and cues here
